1+9 = 10
"NUMBER 1"
This unit(the building block) of the positive integers has always been very close and precious to me- for reasons more than "one". I have been associated with this digit since my "birth", the birthdays of most of my family members also rest on this digit and more importantly it gives me the feeling of being "numero uno" in whatever I do. Sometimes the result shows and sometimes it does not.But what matters to me the most is my effort that goes into it.
19th of February remains a special day for me every year.The reason ? Very Simple yet very special. My beloved mom's birthday.(Love you Mom).But this year, the dose of fun, entertainment and enjoyment gets double courtesy ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 which is all set to be inaugurated in Bangladesh.
But a coin always has two sides and so does this bit of my story. The fun and excitement get subdued by the fact that I have to be 'Away from Home'- on the soil that actually invented this game called CRICKET.
The most interesting part here is that the philosophical value of number "1" also pitches in from a very strong angle,in that, the No.1 Test Team in the world, TEAM INDIA takes guard with the only motive of winning this year's World Cup.
